Rheinmetall is a German defense company that has secured a major contract from Ukraine for military equipment, with the deal valued at several dozen billion euros. The company has begun production of this equipment at its Expal Munitions facility in Spain and plans to deliver it between December 2027 and June 2029. Rheinmetall is also expanding into marine drone production, including a joint venture with Kraken for the serial production of unmanned surface vessels.
