Заксобрание, or the Saint Petersburg City Duma, is the legislative body of Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a seven-year term and sessions held in the Mariinsky Palace. It has been involved in debates over laws related to CRT, 'nail guns,' AI use in legislation, and public transparency. The current (7th) convocation ran from 2021 to 2026, during which it passed 2,145 laws. Elections for the next convocation are scheduled for September 2026.
