TAMASH SHUYOK is the President of Hungary, who has been the subject of political pressure from Prime Minister PETER MADYAR. In July, the Hungarian Government submitted a constitutional amendment to parliament that would terminate Shuyok's presidential term and remove him from office. Madyar claimed that Shuyok was not fulfilling his duties and had supported previous administrations in ways deemed unacceptable by the current government. The proposed changes were described as part of an effort to end Shuyok’s tenure, with the possibility of impeachment if he refused to resign voluntarily.
