The Енисей is a river in the Republic of Tuva, Russia, which became the focal point for search and rescue operations following the disappearance of two teenage girls on July 1, 2026. Mobile phones and footwear belonging to the missing girls were found on its banks, prompting extensive searches by MCHS, volunteers, drones, and underwater surveys along a stretch extending from Kyzyl downstream to areas such as Iy-Tal and Ot-tuk-Dash.
