Gagik Tsarukyan is the leader of the opposition party 'Prosperous Armenia' in Armenia and a businessman linked to the 'Multi Group' conglomerate. He was subjected to searches at his home and businesses, including confiscation of animal trophies and zoo animals from his private collection, as part of a criminal investigation into illegal hunting. Tsarukyan has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and public television over accusations made by Pashinyan.
