Tigran Keosayan was a media figure and television presenter, married to journalist Margarita Simonyan. He died in September 2025 at age 60 after years of heart problems. His widow established a prize in his name to honor acts of heroism, including saving children from drowning and preventing attacks. The award, created by Margarita Simonyan, is given personally by her and carries a value of one million rubles.
