Копань is a rural locality in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukraine, which was captured by Russian forces on July 1, 2023. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, control over Копань was established by units of the 'Eastern' military grouping. The settlement is noted for hosting a production facility for cruise missile engines known as 'Neptune'.
