Ekateryna Zhemchuzhnaya was a renowned Russian actress and People's Artist of Russia, born on March 28, 1944, in Shchyokino, Tula Oblast, into an artistic family. She studied at the studio of the 'Romen' theater in Moscow and joined its troupe in 1964 under director Semyon Barkan, performing over 40 stage roles and more than 20 film roles, including notable performances in 'Eternal Call,' 'Carnival,' and 'The Tabors Go to Heaven.' She passed away on July 3 at the age of 82 due to pulmonary embolism. Her estate included a Moscow apartment and a dacha.
