The Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation (Центризбирком) is responsible for organizing and overseeing elections in Russia. It has approved special procedures for conducting elections in regions under martial law or heightened alert, set voting dates for the State Duma elections from September 18 to 20, 2026, and plans to consider implementing online voting. The commission also invited international observers from 103 countries and organizations and confirmed that election results are final upon confirmation by the Constitutional Court of Armenia.
