Рыльск is a city in Kursk Oblast, Russia, that has been targeted by Ukrainian drone attacks. On July 3, 2026, a car bomb exploded near the administration of Rylskiy District in Ryalsk, injuring six people including the head of the district, Vladimir Kovalevich. The explosion occurred on a central street and was caused by a remotely detonated mine. The incident led to an investigation classified as a terrorist act by the Russian Investigative Committee.
