Gagra

other

Gagra is a town in Abkhazia that serves as a railway station on the route between Sukhumi and Moscow, with connections to Saint Petersburg. It was affected by a disruption in rail service due to trees falling onto tracks near the Zandripsh–Gagra section of the Abkhazian Railway, leading to passenger transfers via free bus transport to Gagra, Gudauta, New Athos, and Sukhumi. The incident caused delays and required restoration work on the railway infrastructure.
