Новый Донбасс is a populated settlement in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), which was reported to have been liberated by Russian forces. According to multiple statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense, the area was captured during military operations conducted by the 'Center' grouping of troops, including the 177th Guards Marine Infantry Regiment, with support from aviation and artillery.
