Tosnensky District is a municipal district in Leningrad Oblast, Russia, where a 12-year-old girl went missing on July 2 while collecting mushrooms near the gardeners' association 'Zakhozhye-5'. Her body was found the next day with signs of violence. A 42-year-old man from the same district, previously convicted of robbery and known as a member of the board of SNT 'Zakhozhye', was arrested in Gatchina on July 4 while attempting to flee by train.
