Air Defense System

The System of Air Defense (Система ПВО) is described in the snippets as a military defense system operated by the Russian Ministry of Defense. It has been reported to have intercepted and destroyed multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) launched by Ukraine's Armed Forces, specifically targeting Moscow. These claims are consistently attributed to statements made by Moscow's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, who reports daily counts of downed drones and confirms that emergency services respond at crash sites. The entity is portrayed as actively engaged in defending the capital from drone attacks.
