CITIC Tower is a 528-meter-tall skyscraper located in the business district of Beijing, China, and is among the tallest buildings in the world. On June 26, a Sunward SA60L Aurora light aircraft crashed into the building's glass facade on its 109th floor, resulting in one pilot death and 13 injuries. The incident led to an immediate evacuation of the building and temporary closure of surrounding areas. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
