The Управления по контролю за иностранными активами (OFAC) is a U.S. government agency under the Department of the Treasury responsible for administering economic sanctions. It has issued licenses permitting operations with Iranian oil until August 21 and removed two Russian cargo ships from its SDN List. OFAC also launched an online portal for submitting applications to be removed from sanction lists.
