The term 'Евро-4' refers to a fuel quality standard for gasoline and diesel in Russia, introduced in 2005 with sulfur content not exceeding 50 milligrams per kilogram. As of early 2024, Russian authorities were considering allowing the production, circulation, and import of fuels up to the 'Евро-2', 'Евро-3', and 'Евро-4' standards until July 2027, including potential imports from abroad without compliance with Eurasian Economic Union requirements.
