The G7 is an international forum that convened in Évian-le-Béné, France, from June 15–17, 16, 2024. During the summit, leaders discussed military support for Ukraine, with plans to provide up to €45 billion through loans drawn from frozen Russian assets; they also addressed diplomatic developments including a reported U.S.-Iran agreement on the Omani Strait and tensions over U.S. neutrality in the Ukraine conflict.
