LINK is a robotic spacecraft developed to rescue and stabilize NASA's Swift observatory, which is experiencing a rapid orbital decay. The mission involves LINK capturing the Swift satellite in space and using its ion thrusters to gradually raise it back to a stable orbit over two to three months. Launch of the Pegasus XL rocket carrying LINK was delayed due to adverse weather conditions but is scheduled for July 1st or 2nd from an aircraft carrier at Kwajalein Atoll in the South Pacific.
