OPEC+ is an alliance of oil-producing countries, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman, which coordinate production policies to influence global oil markets. In July 2024, member states agreed to increase their collective output quota by 188,000 barrels per day for August, with Saudi Arabia and Russia set to raise production by 62,000 b/d each. The group continues to manage supply adjustments amid fluctuating global demand and market conditions.
