Орленок is a Russian children's camp organization involved in security incidents, most notably a 2026 attack in Tuva where a man broke into the camp and assaulted 14 children. The incident occurred at a facility on Lake Chagytai, with the attacker reportedly intoxicated and using a wooden stick as a weapon. Authorities arrested the perpetrator, who was charged under Article 213 of the Russian Criminal Code for hooliganism. The head of Tuva criticized camp leadership for security failures following the attack.
