Rosobrnadzor is a Russian government agency responsible for overseeing state examinations, including the Unified State Exam (EGE) and the basic education exam (OGЭ). It reports on EGE results, manages appeals and complaints from participants, issues warnings to universities for violations, and develops new examination formats such as an oral history exam for 9th graders set to be introduced in 2028. The agency also announced that an EGE in Arabic may not appear before 2033.
