The Social Fund (Социальный фонд) is a Russian government agency responsible for managing social insurance, pensions, and related benefits. Starting July 1, 2026, it will implement automated benefit calculations and payments using data from individual accounts without requiring applications or additional documentation. The fund oversees programs including family payments, disability and military pensions, special provisions for Far North residents, and has announced a 17.3% increase in accumulated pensions effective August 1, 2026.
