Arbuzyku is a bear cub who was rescued in Sochi with a severe injury, including an old fracture and deep infection that required amputation of one leg. He is being treated at the 'Zemlya Pride' wildlife sanctuary in Moscow Oblast, where staff describe him as having a strong will to live, a very impulsive and independent character, and significant challenges due to his weakened condition.
