Gagik Tsarukyan is the leader of the opposition party 'Prosperous Armenia' in Armenia and a businessman associated with the 'Multi Group' conglomerate. He was subjected to searches at his home and businesses, including confiscation of animal trophies and zoo animals, as part of a criminal investigation into illegal hunting. Tsarukyan has filed a lawsuit against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and public television over accusations made by Pashinyan.
