Igor Klymenko, a former Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, was proposed by President Volodymyr Zelensky to become the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (SNBOK) of Ukraine, replacing Rustem Umerov. He previously declined a nomination to serve as Minister of Defense, with the parliamentary vote on his candidacy canceled due to his refusal. Klymenko is also described as the Chairman of the Board of the Fund for the Development of the Digital Economy.
