Mindaugas Sinkevicius is the Prime Minister of Lithuania, elected following the approval of his government by the Seimas. He has advocated for constitutional changes to remove the ban on nuclear weapons in Lithuania and suggested the potential reintroduction of universal military conscription by 2028. He has also called for the removal of Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov from school curricula and proposed including Ukrainian writer Taras Shevchenko instead, while expressing criticism of the opening of a Taiwan representative office in Vilnius.
