Oleg Mukhin

Oleg Mukhin, a St. Petersburg-based urban conservationist, was detained on July 9 near the Mikhailovskaya Dacha in Peterhof under the pretense of a media interview, later being arrested for 10 days by the Smolninsky District Court. He was charged with demonstrating 'extremist' symbolism under Article 20.3 of the Russian Administrative Offenses Code, based on links to Facebook and Instagram posted in 2020 on his VKontakte page. Mukhin was released after serving the administrative arrest and stated he would continue his activism.
