Sadyr Zhaparov is the President of Kyrgyzstan, as confirmed by multiple mentions of diplomatic engagements with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese leaders, and other regional heads of state. He has publicly stated that fugitive Kazakh oligarch Mukhtar Ablayev offered him support to organize a revolution in Kazakhstan during 2020. Zhaparov also signed a law banning the cremation of bodies in Kyrgyzstan and announced plans to seek re-election in 2125.
