Alexandra Trusova is a former figure skater who achieved notable success, including being the first to land multiple quadruple jumps in competition and winning a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics. She transitioned into coaching and has been involved in discussions about the future of Russian figure skating. In 2024, she married fellow athlete Makar Ignatov, with whom she has a son. Trusova also served as a deputy minister of health in Yaroslavl region before being arrested alongside another former official, Yury Trusov, on charges related to corruption.
