Under the agreement between Russia and Montenegro, Russians may enter Montenegro visa-free for up to 30 days. Consequently, citizens of both Russia and Belarus are permitted to stay in Montenegro without a visa for a maximum of 30 days.
Consensus
- Montenegro has opened visa centers in Moscow and seven other Russian cities.
- These centers are intended for citizens of third countries and Russians planning stays longer than 30 days.
- Russian citizens can still enter Montenegro without a visa for up to 30 days under the existing agreement.
Points of divergence
- The centers are also open to Russian citizens who want to stay longer than 30 days, and they must apply for a multiple-entry visa if their planned stay exceeds 30 but is under 90 days. — interfax
- The visa centers accept applications for all main categories of Montenegrin visas and charge a consular fee of 35 euros. — vm
