A plane gifted by the Saudi royal family to the United States in May 2025 and transferred to the Pentagon's inventory was upgraded to meet presidential air transport requirements and flight test specifications. It delivered Trump on July 1 from Andrews Joint Base near Washington, D.C., to North Dakota for a visit to the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library, which is scheduled to open on July 4.
