Ghana's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Putin has banned the recruitment of Ghanaian citizens for the war in Ukraine. Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Oduzeto Ablakwa reported that Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama had reached an agreement with Vladimir Putin prohibiting Ghanaian citizens from participating in the war against Ukraine.
