Four United Russia Leaders Reject Duma Mandates
Four of the five top candidates from United Russia's federal list—Sergey Lavrov, Sergei Sobyanin, Maria Lvova-Belova, and Evgeny Poddubny—refused their parliamentary mandates after the election, with only Vladislav Golovin retaining his seat. The Central Election Commission confirmed the vacancies and transferred the mandates to other candidates from the party's federal list.
