Russia Updates Health Screening Form from Sept 1

Consensus
- A new version of form № 131/у will be implemented in Russia starting September 1.
- The updated form includes new risk factors such as cardiovascular and cognitive risks.
- The form includes new lipid profile indicators, including lipoprotein(a), triglycerides, and LDL, HDL, and VLDL cholesterol.
- The form includes assessment of coronary calcium, calculation of ischemic heart disease probability, and ultrasound of the abdominal aorta on the second stage.
- The new form does not automatically trigger new tests for all patients; additional regulatory updates are required.
- The changes aim to improve early detection of serious, life-threatening diseases, particularly cardiovascular conditions.
Points of divergence
- The updated form will not introduce automatic new studies; the order of dispensaryization has not yet defined the stages for these tests. — riamo

- The form includes staging of detected cancer and additional risk factors such as fall risk and cognitive impairment after age 65. — riamo
- The calculation of pre-test probability of ischemic heart disease is described as a calculated indicator, not a new test. — vesti
- Computer tomography for coronary calcium assessment will not be prescribed to everyone, and the age and indications for ultrasound of the abdominal aorta are not yet established. — riamo
- The updated form is described as a significant step forward in early detection of life-threatening diseases. — vesti
