FSB Allegedly Abducted Russian Citizen in Uzbekistan

Russian national Georgy Pirogov disappeared during a business trip to Uzbekistan in summer 2024 and was found in Moscow's pre-trial detention center less than two days later after allegedly being injected with an unknown substance by FSB officers in Nukus, losing consciousness, and being flown out of the country. He was later sentenced to 23 years in a strict-regime colony on two charges of treason.
