Russian women survive landslide at Nepal-Tibet border

Two Russian women, Ekaterina Krasukova and Iryna Ulgan, survived a deadly landslide at the Rasuwa Gadhi border crossing between Nepal and Tibet on August 26, after noticing an approaching debris flow and fleeing to higher ground with their group. They were later evacuated to Kathmandu with assistance from the Russian embassy.
