Microfinance organizations (MFOs) in Russia are financial institutions that provide loans and related services. As of July 1, 2027, new regulatory standards require MFOs to transparently disclose loan terms, prohibit pre-ticked consent for additional services like insurance, avoid misleading language or visual tricks, and ensure clients are informed about optional services and their right to refuse them.
